Letting Go….

 

Everything was very simple,
Everything was very fine.
I know I couldn’t have you,
And I definitely knew why.

 

I tried to convert my attention,

But I know deep inside its just pretension,

At the end of every single day,

I lied to myself and it’s a dismay.

 

It’s hard to be with you,

I always feel blue,

I tried to deal with the pain,

But it cuts me into pieces like a grain.

 

When I look into your eyes,
I feel my body floating away.

I miss the way we used to be,

Loving each other eternally.

 

As I close my eyes tonight,

Hope these feelings for you will subside,

I’ll pray that you realize that
I love you, but I can’t have you.
